Tsunami Rose Challenge 17: Colour Challenge

Hey Peeps

Its Challenge day over at Tsunami Rose Designs

And this week its a colour challenge

 

As most of you know I've been cutting down on some of my DT work

leading up to my big adventure in Vietnam with my son

 

This will be my last DT post for Daisy for a little while

but I will be back soon to show off her fabby kits and papers

 Here's my attempt I struggled with this for some reason

my mojo was having an off day me thinks ha ha

Even my crackle paint wouldnt crackle ha ha

A quick share

Hi Peeps

Just thought I'd share this

as I'd made it a while ago for a DT Ive now left, but it wasn't used

so now the date has passed I can share

(that did make sense in my head ha ha)

 

 

I distressed a piece of Kanban card and washed it with white acrylic

Did the same to the book page and the punched edging

then I just layered everything up

the cage was painted with white crackle paint

I added the bits and bobs

the die cut flourishes are bits of waxed paper I'd saved from a previous cutting session

I think the butterfly is a Choc Baroque Stamp ?

Happy Campers DT post Challenge 15 - Use a Mask or Stencil

Hi Peeps

Its Challenge day over at Happy Campers

and the theme this time is Use a Mask or Stencil

Heres my contribution

Sorry about the picture quality my camera is having a paddy oops

I painted the canvas with pink pearl paint
Layed the masks over and spritzed with black gold glimmer mist
then just added varoius emblies
This is for a friends birthday is all pink and sparkly in the light I hope she likes it hee hee

Its a feature week this week and Tom from Splodgeaway has offered a fabby prize

SplodgeAway are a wonderful company who design and produce super slippery solvent resistant, polymer resin blending mats and excellent quality mask and stencils

We all have mats and I for one can say it has made a huge difference to my blending technique

(and I think my mother has become some what addicted too)

Tsunami Rose Challenge 16: Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hey Peeps

Its Challenge day over at Tsunami Rose Designs and we have a new one this week Tic Tac Toe

I had much fun with it and picked Crumpled - Inked edges and Distressed 

That sounds like I'm describing myself ha ha ha

Here's my contribution 

I made a tag and a 'tag jacket' with papers from the Discarded Ephemera set

and added a crumpled flower and butterfly and ribbon, inked the edges 

of course the whole tag is distressed hee hee

a few charms and a hitch fastener and voilà
