Its all gone brown again

Hi Peeps

Hope you've all had a fabby weekend - its been cracking the flags here today ....Typical....although its rather windy still, so not to warm.

I started off this card with the intentions of going pink and cream ? Its brown again ha ha .... I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm a 'brown & neutral' kinda gal lol.... I wonder if there's a support group?

Any how here it is....

I used the following
Tim Holtz - Natures Elements - Post card Embossing folder - DI's
Spellbinders - Bitty Blossoms die
Snow cap Dabber

Just a little reminder about LEJ's Designs new challenge blog which kicks off tomorrow, go have a nosey and join in. There's some lovely Candy up for grabs, Me and my fellow DTM's have been very busy behind the scenes rustling up some inspiration which will be posted tomorrow :)

Just a quickie

Hi peeps
Just thought I would share this make with you. Its not very exciting ha ha

Been a bit off :( but back on track......... thank god for medication lol

Ive been playing with embossing powders ...mainly mixing them up and seeing what happens ha ha

A few mishaps and a nosey kitten later and Ta Da

Watcha Doin !

The stamps are from Chocolate Baroque - Butterfly Poppies set - I just used the large background, the flowers and the script moth. The text is from the Loving Sentiments set.

Ranger Ancient Tarnished Gold
Vintage Photo Distress powder
Walnut Stain DI
Nesties Frame and velum and Bronze Centura Pearl card stock.

The flower and moth have just a bit of tarnished gold to give the pitted effect.
I stamped the background and frame and lightly sprinkled each powder on, in patches it gives it a nice shabby, antique appearance............. need to try the patina affect that's doing the rounds too :) looks nice and mucky ha ha

A little bit Sheena

Hi peeps
In my final battle to use every one of my stamps Ive come up with the below ..... Unfortunately once I had used the final 'Bought as a Gift' set, I inadvertently discovered the wonders of A little bit Sketchy Sheena Douglas .... and had to buy a few more ...oops ! Isn't it funny how you think something isn't your cup of tea till you have a go

Ive only done simple cards with them so cant wait to play properly but I'm soooo impressed with them.

I was bought Poppies and Daisies, and must have used the daisy stamp at one point as there was traces of ink one it :) The others are Silly Moo and Happiness ( Ive also bought the Sheltering Tree but not played yet)

Off this week and it snows .... sods law ha ha ...Hope your all warm and crafty :)
